, first try to reset your TV. Disconnect it from AC power, then press and hold the power button on the TV, and not the remote, for 10 seconds. After another minute, plug the set back in and press power once. Then try the other sound out from your TV to a set of speakers etc. If that works, you know that your internal speakers are not working. If it does, it is most likely that the audio IC that drives the internal speakers has failed. It is common in these sets as they use inexpensive low powered amplifier IC's that heat up and fail. You can try to replace the IC, if you have the right tools and experience, or replace the mainboard, part number 1AA4B10N260A0. The IC itself is LV4906 and the mainboard is available at places like this. Hope this helps, good luck
HI, try a new wall outlet in the home or business. if the wall outlets are live, try replacing the power cord. if thisdoesn'tyield results, replace theinternal power unit(inverter board)
I found that with my Westinghouse SK26H240S lcd tv. that when you turn down the blacklight feature you get a hum thru the audio. so I just turned the blacklight feature to the max and the problem went away, no more audio hum.
you have internal speakers/external make sure you switch on internal ,not external this is for hooking up other speakers on outside of set.Turn on Internal speakers!
Hi,
Chances the Audio L/R are line level (can not drive speakers) other than they can either be output or inputs. If they are inputs, they are connected to a source such as a DVD player or if they are outputs, connects to an external amplifier where external speakers maybe connected.
hope this be of some help/idea. Post should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Have you unplugged the set from AC power? Not just 'turn it off' but physically remove the power cord for 1 minute. Often this 'resets' internal circuitry when a 'power off' will not.
