Netowrk problem Cannot broadcast or IP scan

change the configuration in your IP Phone change the setting to allow broadcast caller ID .

go to internet options and then connections tab. under lan settings make sure that detect netowrk settings is checked and that a manual ip address isnt set up. let me know if this helps. there are a few other things we can try.

If your running xp, make sure the netowrk card is not disabled, make sure you rnot using a cross over cable. use the cable you got with the routers. Try reinstalling the network card, goto dell support andenter you model to get the drivers.

1 thing to check. goto start ,control panel.
double click on netowrk conections.
right click on the main conection witch is the card in your pc, goto properties. andin the list internet protocol (tcp/ip) click this. and pres properties.

make sure in here obtain ip addres is automatically. and obtain dns is auto too.

i get this all time when i am on wifi with my 360 and iphone at the same time try and shutdown all things wifi in ur house go to router setting and give them a little check make sure ip is set to automatic

Yoy may reconfigured your network and IP address changed for printer. try to find printer from Start>settings>printer & faxes>Install printer>network printer

u have to assigns ipadrreses as defined by your isp.some or mayh be if yhour computer in netowrk other computers have same ip so check it.

Turn off the "DHCP Service".

That would be "Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol", and it's the service that assigns IP addresses automatically.

If you need "DHCP" to connect yourself, you could always turn off your "ssid broadcast".

That way, nobody (including you) will see your router while scanning, wardriving, etc.
Of course, you will know it's there and what "ssid"
you gave it, so you'll be able to connect just by using the right ssid.

your dynamic IP is the one that you modem is connected to. The 192.168.*.* is just you local area network addresses.

What does you router have for IP address information?

go to the system slide on your dashboard. click netowrk settings then click the box that has i.p. in it then amke sure it is set to automatic and make sure the box with DNP is automatic to. make sure your onnection is all correct as well
