My mp3 player will only charge up to one bar only. No matter how long I charge it and when it is on the charger it wont even power up at all. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot?

i have the same problem with both of my ipods adn when i hook them up to just a power sorce like a usb charger they turn on and charge but you have to let them charge for a bit before disconnecting them. ive used a usb wal charger and i also have aq inmotion that charges them too. hopes this helps
Hi you need to make sure you have charged the player, does it light up when charger is plugged in??
PC will not recognize the player unless it is powered up.
Get a USB wall charger. These are AC adapters that plug directly into the outlet. You then plug the USB from your MP3 into the port on the adapter.
Charge your MP3 player on the go. There are also charging kits that plug into the cigarette lighter or power plug in your car. These kits come with a DC power adapter that has a port on the end for you to plug in your MP3.
Acquire Apple iPod specific chargers. When you need to charge your iPod music player through an outlet, look for the Universal USB car charger or the Universal USB travel charger made specifically for Apple products.
Make sure that you have your player on a power strip or surge protector so that if you get a surge you wont fry your player.
You should have received a a cell phone like charger with your player or most likely it will charge through the same USB cable that you used to transfer your songs from your computer. If you have the USB cable plug it into your computer. There should be some kind of display bar that shows the player is being charged. I hope I have been helpful
Well it wont be compatible with the mp3. even if it does seem to fit into the slot where it charges you still wont get it to charge. also different chargers deliver a different ammount of energy to the device so it either wouldnt be enough or it would be too much. I hope this helps you solve your problem.
the power switch is fragile - if you break it then you cannot turn on the player. plugging in the charger will turn it on but only while the is power coming from the charger.
