SOURCE: How do you read the flashing check engine light
Turn key on and off twice without starting engine. count flashes, their will be slight hesitation, make one digit after hesitation make second digit.(flashes 5 times hesitates flashes three times hesitates your code is 53) if it countiues to flash, its making second two digit code.

Even a small amount of bad gas can cause your problem.
So the first thing you need to do is remove your fuel tank so you can drain all of the old fuel out, then remove the fuel sending unit and fuel pump assembly thats in your fuel tank and clean the filter screen, after that you can reinstall the fuel tank, replace your fuel filter and I would have a fuel injector sevice done.
Unless you are very skilled in automotive repair, leave this one to a pro.

That is not a code, It is a GET ME CHECKED OUT SOON attention flash. If you hacve an AutoZone auto parts store in you r towm/area, go to them and ask them to put the code reader on the car. Then ask them to make a list of the codes and the definitions. Advice can be given better then. Hope this helps you along a bit.
SOURCE: 2003 town and country changed plugs and wires and

Other than a bad scanner, you have got something going on there, Is it missing or just telling you it is missing? Did you try another wire in the No. 1 spot? Did you look at it running at night?(light show) Try separating the wires going to No. 1 and see if anything changes. The only other thing I would check is a stuck valve. A compression check will tell you what it is. Hope this helps.
