The codes wont make tv work

1. Auto Code Search:
   • Turn on your Sylvania TV.
   • Press and hold the "Code Search" button on your Philips remote until the indicator light stays on.
   • Press the "TV" button on the remote to set it to control the TV.
   • Press the "Power" button repeatedly until the TV turns off.
   • Press the "OK" or "Enter" button to save the code.
2. Manual Code Entry:
   • Find the code for your Sylvania TV in the Philips remote control manual. If you don't have the manual, you may be able to find it on the Philips website.
   • Turn on your Sylvania TV.
   • Press and hold the "Code Search" button on the remote until the indicator light stays on.
   • Enter the code using the number buttons on the remote.
   • Test if the remote now controls your TV. If not, repeat the process with a different code.
3. Try Common Codes:
   • Some common Sylvania TV remote codes for Philips remotes are 0810, 1684, 1886, 2183, 1081, 1172, 1196, and 2049. Try entering these codes manually.

You can try going to http://www.manualsonline.com/ and searching for your remote's manual by the model number.

You can find many universal remote control codes at InsigniaProducts.com, just search for your TV model number and click on the Support Tab.

The first site is Phillips support you need the model number...enter it at this site the other (later) is a code page I found but no model number makes it harder...let me know the model number if none of these help....thanks for rating my effort...The Fang
