I have a Christmas decoration. It's one of those reindeer with a moving head. The motor has died and I'm looking for a replacement. It is an Ann Yih AM-05. Does anyone know where I can get a new one?
It turns out I was assuming I had a bad motor. There was a manufacturing defect in the wires leading to the motor. I stripped back the wires and it's good to go now.It turns out I was assuming I had a bad motor. There was a manufacturing defect in the wires leading to the motor. if your set is like my old one the skaters move by magnets underneath the rink. If yours is the same you may try removing the rink and oiling the tracks that the magnets move on. This worked for us
There is no way that a printer prints out of alignment unless the paper slips enroute. Meaning that the rollers are not holding the paper tight and the guides not pressing the paper snugly, as you put it. So, it could either be the rollers not aligned to each other properly or the guides not pressing the paper equally. The print head moves on a steel rod which is straight. So that can not be the culprit as the print head has to move in a straight line, irrespective of the paper being straight or slipped. So, that leaves us with the slipping paper for which there are the rollers and the guides.
If you feel that the tension in the guides is not equal, then change the guides, else the rollers need a closer look. Or at least clean them with a damp soft cloth and allow them to dry up before using them.
You can repair it from the front. Worst care replacing the whole stem assemble. Take it out from the front, see what is wrong (Washer
fell off?, Stripped stem?) Take the old part to the plumbing supply that sells that brand and match it up.
There are two wires going in.
If it helps, here's a picture of the motor.
