I have windows 7 and im trying to scan and dosent conect to my printer

I play deer hunter 2014 on facebook.. i downloaded bluestack then removed it now when im on facebook my deerhunter dosent work . it says (localized strings) (check conection) all my other games work. what happend i believe bluestackers changed my settings how do i restore them please help ..

It could be a printer driver issue. Try to uninstall your existing Lexmark S405 printer driver from your computer. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark > S400 Series > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot pc when prompted.
When your pc turns on, go to Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Take note of the System Type (32-bit or 64-bit).

Were you able to scan to your Windows 7 before? If yes, it could be just a slight communication problem. Disconnect your printer from your computer. Reboot your computer. Unplug and replug your printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect your printer to the computer. Doing this usually fixes minor communication issues. Try to scan again.

If you still have the X7350 install disc, re-insert that in your hard drive to repair corrupted scan files/software.

and then select "Windows 7", and download the newest device-drivers.

Did you try to install the driver using the installation cd? If so, uninstall it by going to Windows logo Start Menu > Programs > Lexmark Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. After uninstalling, restart the pc. Then, check your Windows 7 if it's running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by going to Windows logo Start Menu > right click on Computer > Properties. I recomment using the Windows 7 driver available for download in the Lexmark website. To download, just click on the links.

Don't even try the hp software. 99% sure it won't work. Even in the compatibility mode. Conect the unit USB (no longer than 6ft, and don't use usb hubs) Windows will recognize the new device, it will install an embedded driver. Then Go to control panel under printers and devices and you will see the printer. If you do a right click it will show the option scan. Just follow the wizard. Or open Paint and in the top left corner, there is a blue buttom with an arrow, go there and in the drop down you will find an option from scanner or camera. Both walk arounds will allow you to scan in jpeg, tiff, png, and other but not pdf

have a bizhub 250 trying to scan to pc via smb on a network. Keep getting login failure. Can you help

Windows 7 is a new operating system and printer manufacturers may have not put out new drivers to work with Windows 7 yet.  If you absolutely must have scanning, then go back to your previous operating system.  I hope its not Vista, cause that OS is a bunch of sh.t rolled up in one cow pie if you ask me.  XP was Microsoft's best child.
