Bose Remote Control RTC1T-27

I push "System" botton, my screen goes black with a screen saver on it and nothing is displayed on my Bose display unit. I push "Settings" and the settings are displayed on my display unit, but my tv is still black with screen saver. How do I switch it back or what did I do wrong?

OK, so I called Firedog and they had absolutely no idea what the problem was. They couldn't reset the dang thing because you couldn't view on the tv what was being pushed. We ended up going back to where we bought it and switching out the main unit and worked.

You need to make sure that the video input is set to the same input you use to watch your videos and not your TV. In my case I watch videos on input VIDEO 4 and not VIDEO 1 which is the default TV input. To solve this problem push the "input" button (located under the gray TV button) on your control several times to scroll through video inputs until you hit the correct one.

Laptop does not wake up after sleep

I see this problem a lot, in most cases it is a problem with the ACPI driver. The easiest solution is to make changes to the Power Management settings. What happens is part of the computer goes to sleep and part goes into hibernate. Unless I am trying to conserve battery power I set the system to always on and use the screen saver to protect the screen from damage. If I am looking to save battery then I still set the screen to always on with the black screen saver and set the rest of the settings to sleep with no Hibernate settings. Hibernation is nice but really does nothing more than write data to the hard drive so the system can restart and you do not save anytime allowing it to operate. It causes more problem in configurations than it solves. In fact the only machine I might consider using a Hibernate setting on would be a server.

The screen saver is set to save mode. use the settings functionality of disable or reesatblsih system settings. a possible battery full charge after powering off device completely shoudl provide the capacity to hold splash screens with phone call display all at once.

There are a couple of issues that this could be. Most likely the inverter for the screen is failing. The inverter takes the DC current from the AC adapter and converts it to high voltage for the backlight. If this starts to fail, it can mo lonher regulate the proper voltage for the backlight and the display goes dark. The only other issue would be that the cables attaching the inverter to the screen are chaffed from rubbing up against the hinge points and need to be wrapped and re-routed to avoid chaffing and pinching.

Bose 321 only plays DVD movies in black and white

This happens because the connections are not pushed in fully. Check the connections are push them fully in, they are very stiff on Bose units.

If that doens't help, try a new cable.

I want to watch a movie on my pc but it goes into sleep mode 20 minutes into the movie. How can i change the settings. It displays (auto input interjection) how can i change it?

Turn off your screensaver from your desktop settings, and modify your power control settings from within control panel. Alternately, you can make a conscious effort to move the mouse every 19-1/2 minutes. I think I would change the settings.

If you find my suggestions to be helpful, please share with us some details so that others may benefit from knowing the whole story. Thank you!
