Bose Remote Control RTC1T-27

I push "System" botton, my screen goes black with a screen saver on it and nothing is displayed on my Bose display unit. I push "Settings" and the settings are displayed on my display unit, but my tv is still black with screen saver. How do I switch it back or what did I do wrong?

OK, so I called Firedog and they had absolutely no idea what the problem was. They couldn't reset the dang thing because you couldn't view on the tv what was being pushed. We ended up going back to where we bought it and switching out the main unit and Whala....it worked.

You need to make sure that the video input is set to the same input you use to watch your videos and not your TV. In my case I watch videos on input VIDEO 4 and not VIDEO 1 which is the default TV input. To solve this problem push the "input" button (located under the gray TV button) on your control several times to scroll through video inputs until you hit the correct one.

I have a bose tv speaker system. I have not used it in awhile. I cannot seam to get it working. the red light is on the remote device that sets under the tv.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check it by pressing all the keys. You can detect the presence of infra-red emission from the remote control, using a cell-phone camera. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. Surf the site with patience. In some cases, the remote control might need to clean.

Unit powers up but display is frozen and no nothing after that. No remote or button response except for display off.

The display microprocessor(computer within your unit) may be bad. This IC is responsible for processing any and all IR(infra red) commands from the remote, as well as scanning all the push buttons on the front of the unit. If you're interested in having your unit repair, please visit me website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

Hello
Check the cells in the battery compartment of your remote control handset. Replace it with new ones and check. Still you poise this problem, the intensity of infrared rays come from your remote control, or the sensitivity of the infrared sensor inside your bose front panel system may have the trouble. Just replace the infrared LED of your remote control with an other one of same type. If it does not helps you, repalcing the infrared sensor will reftify your problem. OK.
