Unit powers up but display is frozen and no nothing after that. No remote or button response except for display off.

Unit powers up but will not turn off by remote or power button. Also the ONLY function that works is the display off button. I can not get ANY remote key or unit button response except for the first set up screen which is frozen. Unit appears frozen. The red flashing "hello" displays continually.

The display microprocessor(computer within your unit) may be bad. This IC is responsible for processing any and all IR(infra red) commands from the remote, as well as scanning all the push buttons on the front of the unit. If you're interested in having your unit repair, please visit me website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

Hard resetting

The trick is sliding the display lock switch at the exact right moment, otherwise it will not engage. Here are the steps that have worked for my self and several other Xoom FE owners:
1. Power off the unit - if not already
2. Hold down the "Down" volume button at the same time you hold down the power button for 3-5 seconds.
3. While still holding down the "Down" volume button, release the power button and toggle the display lock slide a couple of times (located next to the volume controls).
4. The display should now show "Booting Recovery Kernel Image" and then the Android Robot will be displayed when the unit is in the rebooting phase.
5. Since the device is being Reset (erased and re-imaged), it is normal to see "Please wait for pre-load data" and this process takes about 6-8 minutes. The Xoom FE is now being Factory Restored to the original image.

I have an XACT XTR3. All it does is display "SIRIUS". No response from the remote or buttons except for power.

Flip Display:1. Press the Select button to enter Flip Display.2. Press the Select button to flip the screen upside down so that you may mount the unit on your vehicle's visor.Note:You may also flip the display by pressing and holding the DISPLAY button on the XACTVisor Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver or the Remote Control for 2 seconds.

My lg lfd790 would not turn off so i unplugged it now i can't get it to come back on w/ power button on the unit or power on the remote.......happened once before but worked for a lil while now nothing......

Remove wallpower. Hold Power button 30 seconds. Reconnect wallpower. Turn on. If no success, remove wallpower 30 seconds, then hold power button while attaching wallpower. If no response, or unit fixes to AUX, requires service to reprogram the hardware. Send to Alabama 800 243000

My son bought an AOC LCD TV (model L24H898) last month and connected his laptop and XBOX to it. Yesterday we lost internet connection and the screen on the TV went blank. Now none of the button on the TV...

According to the manufacturer, to reset the entire unit do the following:
1. Press and hold "Menu" and "Channel +" on the TV. 2. Using other hand, press the power button. 3. A small screen should appear in the top left part of the screen. 4. Using the remote, select "Memory Recall" and select. 5. Power off and re-boot the computer 6. Run channel auto-scan to regain the picture.

No response to any button on remote or tv except power button

Press the 'Favorite' button on the remote. You may have accidentally pressed it. It locks the channel. Pressing again unlocks.

Viewsonic n3251w will no longer display Closed Captions

You can reset your viewsonic remote control by removing the batteries, and holding the power button down for 10 seconds. Just 10 minutes ago I repaired my remote, which was doing absolutely nothing, not even turning the set off and on, Called Viewsonic, they told me this, and it worked ! Yay !
