Windows Vista In newer versions of Windows, User Account Control (UAC) is implemented to warn users when they are about to complete an action on the computer that could cause damage. However, these warning messages can become bothersome. Disable UAC to prevent warning messages from being displayed constantly as you use your computer. Click "Start," then click "Control Panel." Double click "User Accounts." Click "Turn User Account Control on or off." Remove the check from the box, and click "OK." You may need to restart the computer to complete this change. Windows 7 Click "Start," then click "Control Panel." Find the search box at the top of the window and type "User Account Control" into it. This will result in a link labeled "Change User Account Control settings." Click the link. Move the slider to the bottom of the window to disable UAC warning messages completely or to a position in the middle of the window to disable warnings in only certain situations. Hope this helps
