The only thing I can tell is that there is a 1050c plus printer and a 1050c printer also vista 32 bit or vista 64 bit?

And you won't.. Because there are none as this unit is considered too OLD. Try this "work around". Download your XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop. You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP. Right click the .exe file and select "Properties". Then select the tab called "Compatibility" Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted. Now apply the settings and run the installer. This should work for most drivers, but not all

check all connectors on main pca. check trailing cables on carriage assembly. main pca may be bad.

try setting up spooling on pc not printing directly to printer that may help you.
