AV reciever sound goes off

On my Onkyo AV Reciever TX-NR903 appeared following problem
After listening to music or watching a movie after approx, 30sec. the sound goes off, it doesent matter if loud or not. the amp gets too hot (as for me) the impedance is set correctly and there is no shortcut in the speakers or the wiring.
The speakers are new and worked perfectly with my old Amp.

Try to check if the blower is working, If not then first look for the blower sensor and clean it and resolder parts pin joints and associated parts also.If ever the blower is working fine then the problem is in amplifier section caused by change value resistor or leak capacitor or cold ,loose or crack solder joint parts this the common problem of over heating amplifier caused by abnormal distribution of current,try all of this,so your receivers works normal again.

Hope it may help you;

If it is working fine and then shuts off and gets hot in just a matter of seconds then you are in the process of frying your amp. Disconnect all speakers and recheck your speaker load. Try only one speaker on one channel and then one on the other channel at first. Or better still, while you have all the speakers removed, try listening on headphones and see what happens. It sounds like you have seriously overloaded your output transistors with the wrong speaker configuration. Good luck.

No audio

Most of the time its the amps that are bad and need changing. This will be transistors on heatsink in the reciever. Part number should be on the amp.

Power loss

Its possible that one of the speakers wires are shorting out or touching the case of the unit (leads to protective shutdown).

Subtitle Problem: Onkyo TX-sr605

The only remote that will definitely turn the sat subtitles on/off is the sat remote. The other subtitle buttons on the other remotes refer to the DVD subtitles and the subtitles generated by the tuner in the tv. The subtitle option is greyed out on the tv because you are not on the tv tuner.
