Turn laptop on and enter BIOS look for the hotkey it will be f2 or something similar. Then look in all the categories for the enable disable TPM function and disable it then save changes and reboot. Hope this helps.

How to enable tpm in m2n68am plus motherboard

Hello the homepage is here:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM2Plus/M2N68AM_PLUS/#download

But first select you current windows 32 or 64 bit.

Select the file you want and click on global for download.

I have seach in the files and a bios update should solve the problem.

I recomend to use asusupdate to upgade the bios.
If you are unfamiliar with that get a expert to help you.

Download first asus update and install it.
Next download the latest bios version.
Both files needs to be unziped before installation.

Open asus update and choose update bios from file
Select the bios file you just have downloaded typical a bin file
Click next and the program will do the rest.
You can do that while windows is running.

And remember DO NOT flash the bios with a wrong one
It will destroy the mainboard.

Remember to set up the boot settings when the job is done.

Good luck

We tried all part replacements for dell vostro V13. but still the problem exists " No operating system found" what will be the cause? please help

When you receive the error, "No Operating System found". There could be one of two things wrong.
Either your hard drive with Windows properly installed is bad,
Or, you haven't installed Windows or the Windows installation is corrupt.

All you have to do is reinstall Windows using the discs provided to you by Dell and you'll be golden.

My laptop Dell Vostro 1015 flickring every 5 seconds, and i really ensure that every necessary driver was installed! i even formated it so as to correct the error , but the flickering persist, please what...

I would try to connect it to a monitor, this way you can isolate it as being an issue with LCD panel or the power suppy\motherboard components. If you do this report back and we can take it further.

HI I have Sony VAIO VGN-fz180e which I dropped now it won't boot and it shows: No TPM or TPM has problem System BIOS shadowed Video BIOS shadowed Is my motherboard broken? John

Seems that the BOIS on the motherboard is all shaken up. Can you remove the bottom plates and press it back into the seating. And while you still have it opened, press the RAM dims as well.
