Instructions

    • 1 Disconnect the power to the stove by turning off the breaker in your fuse box. Test the stove to ensure that power has been disconnected by turning on a working burner and making sure it does not get hot.
    • 2 Open the oven door.

    • 3 Remove the two bolts from the underside of the front of the cooktop, located just above the door jam, facing upwards.
    • 4 Lift the entire cooktop to access the burners, which are attached to the bottom of the cooktop.
    • 5 Remove the two screws from the brackets that secure the burner that you would like to remove, then remove that burner.
    • 6 Disconnect the wires connected to the original burner, then plug them into the new burner. The wires can be removed by simply pulling them out of the terminals. Be sure to mark which wires go to which terminal.
    • 7 Align the grooves on the top of the new burner with the grooves on the bottom of the glass cooktop, then secure the new burner using the brackets and screws that you originally removed.
    • 8 Lower the cooktop, then re-secure it with the two bolts that were removed from the bottom. Close the oven door.
    • 9 Restore power to the stove to complete the installation.

How do you tighten the oven door handle on a whirlpool electric range

Remove door from range and lay on flat surface inside face up. remove 2 screws at top and screws along bottom edge(4 to 6). The inside of the door should lift off. You will then see the screws that hold the handle on at the top of the inner side of the front half. Snug up the screws but don't over tighten if the screws pass through the glass panel. You don't want to crack the glass.

How can I open the top of my gas kitchen range?

Usually you can just pull the front upwards and it should open. Occasionally there are two or three screws under the front edge you may need to remove, then lift it up.

I have a stoves farmstyle 1100 df cream range cooker. I am having problems with the timer and have bought a new one but I need to know how to remove the top to fit it. The cooker serial number is 050564146

Hi.

To replace the timer control you need to remove the front fascia panel and the hotplate at top.

Before starting disconnect power and move the range forward.

To remove front panel you need to undo the 4 screws at the sides and to remove the knobs, then remove front panel.

To remove the hot plate you need to remove 4 screws at the back. There are also 4 screws at each side of the hot plate. You may need to remove the side panels to reach those screws. There is also an additional screw located behind the control.

Here a service manual for the range Farmstyle 1100E, which is similar to 1100DF. The disassembling instructions for top and front are at pages 62 to 64 of PDF (sections 4 to 6). Control board and touch pad are at page 67-68 (sections C and D of disassembling).

My range has a solid burner set into the top without any obvious way to remove it from the top. How do I access the connections or remove the burner from the range?

There should be 2 release "tabs" between the top surface piece and the main range... e.g. the "slot" in the front of the range.
You'll need to lift slightly on the top surface while pressing these tabs with a thin utensil - like a butter knife or paint scrapper. Be careful to not scratch the paint.
The tabs are located on the front left and right.
In some cases, you can slightly lift the top panel to get a better view of the tabs with a flashlight.
Then, the top should lift up, similar to the hood of a car.
Once inside, it's pretty easy to work on the connections, burners, etc.

Kenmore flat top range front burner popped and now doesn't heat.

Assuming the other other elements work....

Write down the entire model number and call a local Sears parts store if there is one near you. They should give you the option of having the parts shipped or picking it up.

To change the element:

Unplug/turn power off to your range first.

Look under the front lip you should see between 2-4 screws. Remove the screws and then the glasstop will lift up. You might need some help to hold it up while you remove the front support bracket.
Once you have that bracket removed from the glasstop, you can change the bad element.

Flat top surface is cracked

Yes, you can purchase a new, replacement, flat glass top for your range. Be prepared for the price thou, as these are not cheap at around $218 (plus s&h) The part number is #316421205. You can order it from searspartsdirect.com (or any other source/supplier you want to).

Here's a link to a line drawing and parts list for your range. Note, there are two (2) versions of your range model with the last alpha being either an "A" or a "B" but both use the same glass top part number.

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getSubComp.pd?modelNumber=FEF364DQB&productCategoryId=0124111&brandId=1428&modelName=ELECTRIC-RANGE&diagramPageId=00003&componentDescription=TOP/DRAWER&documentId=R0502164&backToLink=Return%20to%20Sub%20Components%20list

It is a relatively straightforward removal and replacement (R&R) procedure, with only simple hand tools required. Just be sure disconnect the range from the power plug before attempting any repair.

All you need to do is remove the screws on the back and at the front underside of the range top to remove it and put the new top in place and refasten it to the cabinet.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

FTAT files deleted and can't boot up.

Here's the files from my RM 1412, I just copied the folders and RAR'd them up.

Hope this works. I'd put these files in and reset your RM 1412 with the "Reset" button on the right.

Good luck!

If I remember correctly, you will find three TX-15 torx head screws holding each burner head to the range top which must be removed, then you can use a putty knife to push in the clips which secure the top to the oven frame. These clips are located at the front of the stove top, at the seam of the top to the range, a couple inches in from the left and right side. Then lift top up at the front.
