Wont go into safe mode

If your tapping the F-8 key on bootup and you cant get to the safe mode try tapping the F-5. If your P.O.S.T is not working then i would suggest a Bio's update. But be careful when doing this as if you loose power your computer will be good for nothing but a boat anchor.

If your screen shows a clear picture to start with then it is most likely the video card driver. I don't know what you mean by no access to safe mode, but if you can get into safe mode you should be able to uninstall the video driver and restart. Safe mode is usually accessed by hitting F8 before windows starts so as soon as you see a picture on the screen start hitting F8 a few times until you get to the safe mode selection menu.

There is no way to fix this outside of safe mode. If it is that serious, then you have to get into safe mode or reset the entire software.

Try start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR System Restore, chooses system restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem" and follow instructions. This should get you back.

Sounds like an infection. Your best bet is to start it and keep pressing F8 for safe mode. Once in there do a restore point. If that fails im sorry to say it may be a complete reinstall with a disk...Hope this helps....

try totally formatting the machine and then reloading windows

Restart the system and press F8...go to safe mode...u can login to new window...............

Boot into Safe Mode... Do this by repeatedly pressing the F8 key upon bootup... you will come to a screen with bootup choices... choose boot to safe mode (the first choice)
then go to your Ad/Remove Programs from the control panel.. and proceed to uninstall... then reboot Normally..
