We have a buzzing sound on our Samsung DLP Hlp 6163 and cannot figure out how to get rid of it.
We thought it was a fan, but it happens whether the TV is hot or cold.
It continues to happen even when the TV and Cable TV Connections are muted.
We have been to the Samsung site and have done their troubleshooting with cables, but still the sound is there. ANY IDEAS?
Had this problem. it turned out to be the color wheel. i left it alone but in 1 month's time, the color wheel shattered!. replace the color wheel asap...coz it's a messwhen it breaks

does this buzz also make the color go away? is color wheel easily replaced on your own or do i need to get a professional?
We have the Samsung HL 6163. Since the beginning of January it would occasionally make a "grinding" sound when turned off after extended periods of use. Now it sounds awful when you turn it on and picture is in black and white. We decide to leave it alone until we can get it fixed.
Has anyone had this problem? What was the solution to fix it? How much did it cost to fix?
