Hi, You can do this manually by putting a paper clip or somethingsharp into the little reset hole in the back and holding for 15seconds, then waiting for all the lights to stop flashing and remain on. Oryou can open your internet browser and type 192.168.2.1 (if that iswrong for your router try 192.168.0.1) and if it asks you for ausername and password, just try admin and password (or just google yourrouter model followed by 'default username and password'). Therewill be a menu listing for rebooting or restoring factory settings, then you enable that and wait for the process to complete. This cantake up to 30 seconds after it says 100% so be patient, it will tellyou when you can connect to the internet.

just simply log into netgear page by entering 192.168.1.1 and enter it asks u to enter user id and password, by default user id will be admin and password is password after that u get get netgear log in page in left pane u will find a wireless settings in that u can find ur wireless password that's it
The username and password given to you is for the router itself, to which is required to enter the configuration page. As for the username and password needed to access the internet is given to you by the ISP(Internet Service Provider), in which case, you should contact their customer service and request it.
To reset the router you just simply press and hold the reset button of the router for 10 seconds while power is ON and that's it the router is reset and you just need to reconfigure it back.....
You have to get in the web interface of the router to find the key. If you dont remember , the only other suggestion is to reset the router. This would bring it back to factory defaults . Once this is done, you have to set it up from start again .
Thanks

Hi there,
you need to remove the connection saved.
after securing the wireless router, before you try to connect. Go to
-Control Panel
-Network Connections
-Right Click your Wireless Adapter
-Click Wireless Network Tab
-Remove The Network
IF the router stop working the first thing that you can do is to reset the router by pressing the reset button for 15 seconds while the power is ON then after that unplug the power for 5 seconds and then Run the Installation for the router to reconfigure it back but if you don't have the CD you can contact Netgear support for that so they can walk you through with the process....
so chitodel click on start button
then CONTROL PANEL>NETWORK CONNECTIONS> right click WIRLESS CONNECTION>PROPERTIES>in GENERAL tab click on INTERNET PROTOCOL>PROPERTIES and then click OBTAIN AN IP ADDRESS & OBTAIN DNS SERVER ADDRESS AT LAST CLICK O.K. this will help u try it now..........................
GOOD LUCK.
If this is on the router itself, cycle the power first. If still no good, then clear the router's configuration to factory defaults. This will set the routers ip address to 192.168.1.1. You should have the manual and this will be on page 7-7 if not check out the link below
