While putting my dryer door back on it slipped and the dryer door switch assembly fell apart. Can anyone tell me how to put it back together? If I'm not mistaken the blue wire is the com, the yellow nc, and the grey no. I don't know exactly how they should be put back into the housing. Please help!
All the terminals should be different in size with the big terminal wire being common which goes in the middle the other 2 wires make the light come on and make the motor go so if you get em backwards she will run with the door open and the light will come on with the door closed..

Attach the white to the common and the yellow to the NC, which means "normally closed". Normally, the circuit is closed which allows the dryer to run.
SOURCE: dryer takes three cycles to dry took apart need help put back together
Model #?
If this is a standard dryer with the idler pulley, place the pulley into the slots to the left of the motor pulley. Bring the belt through the idler so it is running on the flat side of the belt and place the belt around the motor. The idler should be placing down pressure on the belt keeping it tight. make sure there are no twists all the way around the drum or it will pop off.

SOURCE: Door Switch broken; therefore dryer will not start.
look at your schematic to make sure that you are jumping the right pair of wires. Yes, it should work if you jumper the door switch

Here is a couple of websites that shows the breakdown and parts of dryers, maybe they will have your model to help show where the two springs go.

SOURCE: which wire is connected to which spot on the door switch? help =(
The white is the common and the gray is for the light the yellow allows machine to start and run when the door is closed.. Just hook them up if the light is on with the door open it should be good to go... If the light is not on then switch the yellow and gray.
