LaCie 10 CRT

I have pressed the power button on and it has gone green as it should, the desktop appears on screen and then there is a gentle click sound, then the screen/desktop starts to shrink inwards from both side and the goes black, each time I try this it does the same.

I would try booting the computer in safe mode (if it's windows) and adjust your display settings. It sounds as though it is trying to display from your computer something that it cannot properly.

Cant turn off panasonic PIP

To turn off the "stuck" pip on a Panasonic tv without a remote, turn off the tv. Then hold down the "Action" button on the front of the tv and press the power button. This will activate a reset and self check of the systems and voila! The pesky pip screen will be gone! This is on an approximately 10 year old regular crt "CT-xxxxx" series tv.
