No heat in oven

Check outlet voltage, a 240v circuit breaker can trip halfway and not be visibly tripped when looking at the breaker panel... 120v will operate the oven controls, but will not heat the elements...

Technika bellissimo oven not heating up

It is one of 4 things.
1. The heating element is out.
2. The dial temp control is bad
3. Only half of the breaker is on in the breaker box
4 If it is digital it could be your Control panel

In most cases we first check all breakers in the breaker panel if all is good. Then most likely one of your heating elements has burnt out. Try turning it to Broil to see if that one works if it does not work it is either your thermostat or control panel.

My oven tripped the breaker and now it wont heat up

check the breaker, if so then check the plug. If both are good then its probably the elements themselves.

After self cleaning my Thermador double oven, it does not heat up anymore The elements are not working. Is there a fuse, switch or something that I can do or check to make it heat up again.

Never use Self-Cleaning!!! It will fry components, melt connectors, and burn wires. If you have violated this rule and an oven no longer works, it is probably not a bad element if neither the bake nor the broil work. It is likely the high heat cut out breaker.

On a Thermador CT 227 double oven, there is a panel on the right side (facing the unit) that is about 3 inches wide and runs from top to bottom held in place by about 6 or 8 screws. Turn off the power, slide the unit out of the kitchen cabinet, remove the sheet metal panel and you will see two high heat cut out breakers. They have a small red button in the center that resets the breaker. Push firmly and you should hear a click. If there is no click, check the unit for continuity. If it is open and the button push does not reset it, the unit may be fried. These breakers trip with high heat and will prevent both elements in an oven from heating. If the breaker is good, you'll have to test the leads to each element and then trace the dead lead to the problem.

All the lights, display, etc. work on the oven but no heat

First and foremost check the breaker box. Ovens use 240 volts which is a double breaker in the box. Just to be safe I would click both breakers off and then back on together. If this doesnt work turn off the power and have someone help you pull the oven out and check your plug or connection. You may be dealing with a broken wire in the junction box due to the power outage. If you have a volt meter turn the power on SAFETLY and test if your getting 240 volts. If the connections are good (including the one from the juction box to the stove itself) and you are getting proper votage, unfortunatley you are going to have to get a new control. What happens is with only 120 volts going to the oven everything runs but your elements (they utilize the 240 volts to heat). You can tell time or use the timer but without your full 240 your turkey aint gonna cook. There is 120 volts coming coming from each of those breakers you checked in the garage. Bottom line is the chances of both elements going out at the same time are slim to none and I feel you are probably dealing with a broken wire.

Dacor 1.5 years old convection oven...not heating

Flip both oven breakers HARD to the "off" position, then back on. If it did not help - you might have a problem with a relay on the control board or a failed bake element.
Grab a flashlight and check the element on the bottom (if you can see it). DO NOT TOUCH THE ELEMENT! If you find any bulging or cracking on the element - it'd out. Before removing the element turn the oven off on the breaker panel.
PS Model number is needed to find the part numbers.

Oven wont heat

Hello, It could be that the EOC is bad but have you checked both sides of the breaker? as you may already know the 220v is on 2 breakers, although you may see the clock still working you still have 120v to the control side, the 120v breaker for the heater side of the cuircuit could have popped...If after checking the breaker you have a full 220 then I would have to say it's going to be a problem with your EOC or high limit if this model has one.
