Okay, here's what happened. I attempted to use the self-cleaning feature on my double wall oven. About a minute after the process began, I decided to cancel the process. I have since been receiving an F8 error on the display and a constant beeping sound from the oven. The only way to stop the beeping is to press the "clock" button. However, the F8 error remains on the display. If I press cancel again, then the fan turns on, the over door locks, and two minutes later the beeping and F8 error reappear. I have no idea how to get everything back to normal again.
Please help!
My issue is similar to Baking Girl. Dacor oven, set for self clean, starts to beep and F8 error displays. Only way to shut it up is to hit the breakers. Breaker does not reset the F8 and now oven is on the fritz. Please advise! My issue is similar to Baking Girl. Dacor oven, set for self clean, starts to beep and F8 error displays. same prob a couple years ago. technician tried a new board, didn't work. he managed to rig the system so i could still cook with it as long as i didn't press the "clean" button. well... guess what, i accidentally pushed that button instead of "bake" and now the F8 with all its beeping, locking, and fan issues has returned and tech will not return my calls.

Shows "lock" in green, four nonsensical symbols separated in the middle by a colon, degree symbol with "c" for Celsius, and "delay" in red. Only the bake, timer, and cancel buttons will work; all other buttons double-beep. How to reset the oven to clock display, please? I have a wall unit whirlpool model GMC305PD that works perfectly fine with no error codes displaying. when the microwave completes its heating cycle it normally beeps 4 times. now it is just 1 continuous beep and you must press stop for the continuous single beep to stop. same when oven is used. happens on preheat for oven as well. what could be the issue? can the beeping be turned off?I have a wall unit whirlpool model GMC305PD that works perfectly fine with no error codes displaying. when the microwave completes its heating cycle it normally beeps 4 times. now it is just 1 continuous beep and you must press stop for the continuous single beep to stop. same when oven is used. happens on preheat for oven as well. what could be the issue? can the beeping be turned off?

Hi there! Typically for such an error code, F8 or F80, there is a communication error between the UI (User Interface) and the control board (often the microwave control board). Yes you have a microwave control board in a double wall oven. This will require either the main control board or the UI board being replaced by a professional for safety reasons. I would suggest to contact a professional that partners with your manufacturer. Contact your manufacturer first to see if there are any known issues or a limited warranty for your model.
there is a problem with the lock for one of the doors do they both close all the way or does one hit the latch. could be bent linkage or bad switch on lock or the control board has a bad relay on it.i need a model # to help any ferther
suggest to reset it by shutting off both main breakers to the stove , wait for one minute and switch breakers on again.
Thanks
Good Luck
