Range CFES388CCS-3 Oven will quit in midst of cooking after less than 10 minutes. Have to reset clock and restart oven and then so far will go to required time. Is it an electrical board problem?

Just fixed my cfes388 after giving up finding another power board or someone to fix it! It got so bad lately that we couldn't use the oven because it would quit after 10 min. and then might take an hour to come back on! Even using just the stovetop would create enough heat to make the display go crazy.
What I found were several cracked solder joints at the connector that the ribbon cable from the display plugs into on the power board. I resoldered three pins that when metered and touched would go open. Used the oven for several hours today with no trouble at all!

Oven fan wont work

You need to determine if you are getting a mains feed to the fan motor, if not, then you need to trace the wires bcck to source and work from there,
If you are getting a 240 volt supply, then the new fan is faulty.
Hope this helps you.

My thermador oven tells me error code 14

Sometimes you can unplug the unit for at least 30 minutes and reset the unit and it wont do it again.Try that first. An error code on a thermador of 14 means latch switch problems.
