sorry I misposted this:
hey, I seem to have the same problem, here and there I read about
chainging the "PF", what is this? anything to do with the power
amplificator?
thanks
my friend called me up on my Motorola V3, and the call simply cut out after about a minute. then i went to buy credit but when i tried to connect to the telstra prepaid service to recharge, the screen read 'unable to connect'. i tried the other telstra number but it said 'Call Failed'. this happened with every number i tried to call.
My friend called me to test if i could receive calls and it said my phone was either turned off or out of range, even though i was right next to his mobile waiting for the call.
anyway, I looked thru everything in settings and recent calls.. nothing fixed it.
turned my phone on and off, didn't work, removed the battery, didn't work, switched the SIM card with another telstra SIM card, didn't work, did a Master Reset, didn't work, did a Master Reset, didn't work.
so it's stuck permanently on Emergency Only reception, although occasionally a few bars of reception come thru, which is when all my missed texts (but not missed calls) came thru, and i could send texts.
so there's something wrong with the handset, i saw about the phone's 'pf'? can anyone help me and others with this?
thanks, peace
