Downloading libraries I have purchased the latest dowload of interiors 3.6. i have tried to download the libraries, and my computer, Mac powerbook is not indicating that the libraries are loaded. Where should i be downloading the libraries? I get a message that says theve been successfully downloaded, but when i open the tab libraries, and click, the "show all" option remains unhighlighted. Any help you can provide would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Thanks! Dr. Y

Something that happens with Macs is the file permissions get messed up from installer programs. This problem usually can be corrected by running the disk tools program. It is usually located in your Applications folder in the Utilities sub folder.

You did not specify with version of OSX your Powerbook Pro is running. Make sure you have all the updates from Apple for your OS. You might also need to get an update from Fuji for the Hyper-Utility2 software. That can be found here: Fuji

You could try deleting the .plist files related to the modem's software. You will find them under: Macintosh HD - Users - "your user id" - Library - Preferences. Do a folder search in there for the "LG" and delete any files that say "com.lg..." This will reset any preferences you have set in the software and force it to create new ones.

If you are experiencing issues with downloading songs from iPhone 3G to your Powerbook G4, there are a few steps you need to check:
• Make sure your Mac OS X operating system version is up to date. • When you have the current version of iTunes on your Powerbook, then commence to connect your iPhone 3G with your Powerbook and sync your iPhone with iTunes.

Use the mouse to click "down" on the icon for the CD, and then "drag" that icon to the Trash bin, and the CD will eject.

Browse to the game's web-site, and click to download the game to your computer.

If you want a stand alone backup solution, you can download a free program called "Carbon Copy Cloner" and purchase a USB 2.0 external hard drive. You can use the CCC software to backup the entire contents of your Powerbook's hard drive or just selected files to the external USB hard drive.

If your Powerbook is unable to boot into OS X and you need to recover the files that are on the internal hard drive, you can boot the Powerbook into "Target Disk Mode" and transfer the files via firewire cable to another Mac. To do this do the following.

1. With both Macs off connect them with a firewire cable.
2. Turn on the Powerbook and hold down the "T" during startup.
3. Once the large icon shows up on screen your in "TDM".
4. Turn on the other Mac and login to your account.
5. The Powerbook's hard drive should mount on your desktop.
6. You'll be able to transfer your files from the Powerbook's hard drive just like you would an external hard drive, thumb drive, etc.

Try the TechGear USB 2.0 cardbus. There are some available on eBay for $10.00. Item number is 250394104416. I bought two for older Titanium 15" PowerBooks, one on 10.4.11; one on 10.3.9. The cards works perfectly with no software drivers. I just inserted them into the PC slots and they work fine. In one case, one computer had a bad factory USB 1.1 slot, so the card does well for extending the comuter's life. The card included a CD with drivers for older versions of Windows and Mac 10.1 and Mac 10.2. I would NOT install drivers for newer systems.
