All microwaves has both internal thermal cut out and internal fuse, Yours problem sounds like an open 9 volts transformer that power up the front panel
It all depends which fuse is it the plug fuse as used in the UK or the internal fuse? If it the internal fuse either the magnatron has gone S/C or the high voltage rectifiers have gone S/C and will need replacing the the indentical components
Could be a lot of things but most probably a shorted high voltage diode assembly. If not that then the magaetron or capactors. Remember be careful there are high voltages even when the oven is unpluged. The capactors are usually charged and must be discharged. If you don't know what yor doing then time to get a qualfied tech.
After replacing the internal fuse (see other posts to see how I did it) the microwave is working fine (so far). We have used it 5 or 6 times without any issues.
does the fuse in the plug blow or the internal fuse if it blows the internal fuse it could be one of the door switches two of the switches have a red button on them and one has an orange button its normally the orange one thats at fault
It may be the internal fuse, or the thermal fuse / thermostat / thermal cutout on the magnetron.
If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk
