It may be the internal fuse, or the thermal fuse / thermostat / thermal cutout on the magnetron. If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

Hello I have a delonghi combi microwave and every time I switch it on at the mains it switches on for about a second and then trips the fuse in main fuse box

There is a short in the primary electrical circuit.
A microwave technician will need to open the housing to check.
The actual location of the fault can vary widely, ranging from water / moisture causing a short, wires burnt or touching, fan motor cooked, control board fault, a loose live connector floating, lamp holder fault, etc.

Panasonic invertor slimline combi

The main fuse in the microwave oven has blown, usually caused by one or two defective door switches.

Microwave MH7130XEB-2 stopped working while cooking. Is now dead. Check plug and breaker box, they are ok. Is it an internal fuse? If so what part # do I need?

Hello :

Problem with the power transformer or the power PCB . Or it could be just a fuse . You need to check first . If it's the fuse , then that will be easy to solve , you need only to replace it with new one . But if the problem is with the transformer or with the PCB , you need to take your microwave to the service .

You could check for manual here :

Whirlpool MH7130XE Microwave Oven manual .

good luck .

Microwave not working

Magnetron may have died or internal fuse may have blown. Its could be all sorts of things.
May be time to buy a new one!

DO NOT TAKE OFF THE COVER YOUR SELVES, AS THEY MAY BE ELETRIC CHARGE STILL PRESANT EVEN WITH THE PLUG DISSCONNECTED

Where is the 10 amp fuse on my delonghi micro/combo/grill please

Hi, I take it that this is a combi microwave? Some of these have settings on the front to microwave/grill/etc... so make sure its on the right one first!!
If you have selected the correct one then the m/wave does not work it could be several things!
Microwaves run to earth and need diodes to do this if these break down it will not m/wave! It could also be a internal fuse? ( but very unlikley if everything else works) Then you have the Mag or transformer which could be down to! M/waves run on a high power side and a low power side. The low power will not hurt you to much but the high power side will. My advice to uou is not to touch as it could be fatal as these things carry a high charge even when they are unplugged!

Microwave stopped

It's probably the thermostat / thermal cutout (TCO) mounted on the magnetron or the cavity.

Be sure the end caps of the fuse are not loose. That can fool you.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.
