If it agitates and drains. leaving your clothes clean but soaking wet. It is most likely the transmission/gearbox. the motor is working otherwise it would not agitate. it is stuck in agitate mode and cannot "shift" into spin mode. new transmission will cost 140-170 and takes 2 or so hours to replace depending on skill level. total repair cost parts+labor $300ish you may want to ante up for a new machine at this point. if you cant to the labor yourself.
part# should be this: tho double check using your own model#

my kenmor washes and drains but does not spin, help
SOURCE: my kenmore 90 series washer won't spin or
true. there is no belt on this model. most likely, the motor coupler has broken. very inexpensive part and fairly easy to replace if you have about an hour. the old part was all plastic and the new part has some reinforced metal in the center. these parts break easy, especially if the person washing lets the machine run off balance all the time.

Fix it. Very easy fix and the part is not expensive. What you have is a direct drive motor. For ease of maintenance the machine is made in a way which makes it possible to service it in place without having to move it. You flip the controls up and pop the retaining clips in back, unplug the lid switch harness and tip the case towards you an out of the way. You can now access the pump, motor, and that pesky drive coupling. These do simply wear out but they usually will go if a comforter is washed in it or low water big load scenario.

It does fill with water than stop and hum. I know it's not the door switch. It's also drains but won't agitate or spin.
