Tv LCD Screen panel now is crack or broken?Yes,tv can't be repair only can be replacing the LCD screen panel itself.Sorry tv now only worth as a salvage tv only for it electronic boards for parts, that it.Because tv will cost the same as a new tv,if tv require a new LCD screen panel.
You've broken the plasma screen itself and the fix is to replace it. Unfortunately, it's the single most expensive part of the entire tv by a long way (effectively you buy the screen at a discount and get everything else thrown in for free), and it often costs more to buy the screen than a complete new tv
Unfortunately your only practical fix is to replace the entire tv and to avoid throwing anything against the fragile screen in future. LCD screens are more robust than plasma and also don't suffer the screen burn-in problems which you often get if using a plasma tv with a gaming console. If you choose to go LCD next time, then still avoid allowing anything or anyone to touch the screen unnecessarily. Both plasma and LCD screens are far more fragile than the old glass cathode ray tube tv's.
There are no warranties which will cover this kind of damage, but it may
be covered if you have home contents insurance with accidental damage
cover if the ball hit the screen accidentally. If you tell the insurer
that the ball was thrown deliberately then it's not an accident and will
not be covered.
Sorry there's no quick or cheap fix, but I hope that my reply has still been of use. Please take a moment to rate my answer.
Change the screen from the dealer. If your warranty period is not over change the scren with no cost. So infor the dealer.Changing the screen is the only solution.
Cost same as a new tv,to replaced the LCD screen. There are hundred or more sell for parts because Broken LCD screen sell in Ebay.com.The TVS industries well not sell out LCD Screen cheap or resonable price.
Unfortunatly no.. you will need to either live with it or replace the entire LCD panel. You can have it repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one. After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.
That may have been an expensive tantrum - I doubt if it will be repaired as a warranty item and the typical cost of replacement makes it a costly lesson.
I doubt if the LCD panel is priced under $6-700.
I have a 52" Samsung Series 5/ 530 Model LCD Flat Panel and I cracked the screen. The screen on the outside is not broke nor scratched but something hit it and now when I turn the tv on- it looks like i hit it with a hammer. How is this fixed? Can I do it myself?
The LCD screen itself often cost more then the tv set itself. If you have accidental insurance you might see if they cover this, otherwise this will make a nice lava lamp like art display for a bedroom wall.......
I had one broken a few months ago. I got a couple quotes.. it was about $200 less then a brand new one. I'd just buy a new one.
For the new TV I'd pickup a screen protector for it. My son threw a toy at my TV the other day and I nearly had a heart attack from the flashbacks. Thank God I picked up one of these a few weeks earlier. It stopped it. LCD screens really break easily as you know. http://www.tv-armor.com
