HI THIS SOUNDS LIKE A CIRCUIT BOARD FAULT PROBABLY BLOWN 3 SMALL COMPONENTS & A BIT OF TRACK ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND SIDE OF BOARD.IT IS USUALLY ONE OF 2 FAULTS THAT CAUSE THIS EITHER A MOTOR PROBLEM IE CARBON BRUSHES TOO LOW OR FAULTY MOTOR THE OTHER THING THAT USUALLY BLOWS THE BOARD IS THE DOOR INTERLOCK GOING FAULTY. I HAVE REPAIRED LOADS OF THESE BOARDS & 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 ITS ONE OF THEM THAT BLOWS IT HOPE THIS HELPS!

light doesn't, dead in the water! Checked the plug...unplugged it and
plugged it back in. Checked the circuit breaker...ok. What next?
I'm sorry to tell you that you need hands on service.
If I were there hands on I could diagnose the problem.
You may have an electronic malfunction and that only a trained technician can diagnose!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens, or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place, sorry but with such a fault it is virtually impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.
I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Solution:
Thanks everyone for your time and input. Problem was actually the door catch. Meile have devised a snifty little electronic switch on the door. This was "fixed" by "gentle manipulation". The Miele guy suggested giving it a couple of good slams!!!
All OK Now...
