Programming Logo on Receipts for Casio TE 2000

Use Casiovision software for this. Your dealer can help you with it. Make sure you do not use the Casiovision software intended for other destinations as it can cause major program issues if it is not the correct version for your country.

The exact functionality you are requesting is located on page 52 of the Casio TE-2000 user manual. Pages 48 through 55 are a good read for you as well. You can access the manual at this location:

Specifically, you will be changing the store logo and message header information to reflect your current store. The process is rather straight forward, and only requires about 5 to 10 minutes of work on your part.

Specifically, you'll need to decide on a few things first:

1. Do I want a Graphic Logo?
2. Do I want a Logo Message?
3. Do I want top print a message at the bottom of the receipt?

Those three questions will help you program your unit. As the instructions on Page 52 outline, you'll need to insert the PGM (programming) key into the machine, and then do the following:

1. PGM Key, turn to Program
2. Press key '3'
3. Press key 'Sub Total'
4. Enter: '2122'
5. Press key 'Sub Total'

From there, you have to enter a special code made up of the first 3 questions:

In your head, start at 0, and then add:

1. If you wish a Graphic Logo: Add 0 (in your head)
2. If you wish a Text Logo Message: Add 1 (in your head)
3. If you wish to print a commercial message, Add 2 (in your head)
4. If not, just add 0
5. If you wish to print a bottom message, Add 4 (in your head)
6. If not, just add 0

Now, take that total (whatever it is), and enter it. So, if you want a Text message AND a commercial message at the top of the receipt, but no bottom message, it would be: 1 + 2 + 0 or 3. You would then enter '0000000' (that's 7 0's). So, that would be '30000000' You then press the 'CA /AMT = /TEND' key. And then 'Sub Total'. From there, you can program your message following the instructions.

I know it can sound confusing, but these are just ways the machine understands what exactly you want it to do. Please refer to the user manual, as it outlines the exact process you need to do. You will also need to refer to the character code table in the user manual (on page 54) just to be able to enter text as it is.

I think what you need is described on page 52:
Programming receipt message/logo stamp control function

That just turns the logo on or off. If there is an old logo there, you don't need to do the 2122 command.
to change the name on most Casio machines:
Turn key to Program mode 2 SUBTOTAL 132 SUBTOTAL Now type the characters for the first line of the receipt using the alphabet on the edge of the buttons. If someone has removed the letters from the keys, just find the alphbet layout in your manual. 00 (double zero button) CASH (maybe labelled CA/AT) 232 SUBTOTAL Now type characters for second line 00 CASH 332 SUBTOTAL Now type characters for third line 00 CASH 432 SUBTOTAL Now type characters for fourth line 00 CASH SUBTOTAL
NOTE: You might have to do 2 receipt prints in REG mode to see the changes

Very common problem. I have one every week. Faulty thermal printer. This model used a very crappy little Seiko printer that fails commonly. Take it to a dealer and have the printer replaced. The printer is very cheap so the bill shouldn't be too much. Make sure you do not use this machine to print receipts for every sale or the printer won't even last a year. I have one customer who has had six printers and Casio still won't agree that the printer is rubbish.

Hi.
Did you program this machine from scratch, or has a dealer setup the system area of programming for you? What I'm asking is has it ever printed a logo?

At the end of each day, you turn the key to Z mode, and press CASH. The machine will print a daily report, then clear only the sales memory ready for the next day. It will not affect any programming.

Try this:
Turn key to program.
3 SUBTOTAL
2122 SUBTOTAL
10000000 CASH
SUBTOTAL

That should turn off the bitmap logo. Now just program your own logo using character input.

VAT is value added tax which is straight percentage. program tax one or two for the percentage and make sure your departments are set up taxable or non taxible. prgm 2 is vat probably and program 1 will be for dept. generally with casio.
