Check the yellow wire connection on your wiring harness... This is the wire that provides continuous power even when the ignition is off. This is how the radio remembers presets/time and such. Every time you turn off the car, the radio "resets" because you dont have the yellow wire connected to an ALWAYS HOT wire.
If you cannot find a hot wire, then you can run a wire from the yellow on the back of your radio directly to the positive terminal on your battery. Dont worry, it doesnt draw enough power to run your battery down.
Most cars have a cigarette lighter or power port somewhere that is always hot. You could always run the yellow wire off of one of these.
Just find a way to get the yellow wire on a hot wire and your stereo will remember the presets.

SOURCE: Help with storing radio stations
Ergh, you might want to explain what KIND of system it is if you need help!
Usually if you have a PRESET button on your system, just tune to the station you want, hold the preset button and it will save the station...or ask you which slot to use (use fast forward/rewind or any other arrow key to change the slot) and viola! And if you have numbers (like in a car for example) just tune to the station and press and hold (for example) the 1 button and it will store the station.
Hope it helps a bit.

Owner's Manual is PN 3834RH0020U
On pg13
1. Press TUNER/BAND to select AM or FM
(Leftmost rectangular button on left of volume knob)
2. Select station by using TUNING +/-
3. Press PROGRAM/MEMO on the remote
A preset number will appear.
4. Press PRESET +/- (or PRESET ^/v on remote) to
select the preset number you want.
5. Press PROGRAM/MEMO again. The statio is stored.
6. Repeat above for more stations.
Believe you can store up to 30 stations.
Stations on presets 1, 2 and 3 take longer to 'kick in' when listening to the radio
as they are the 'tens' prefix for the preset numbers. 4 - 9 'kick in' immediately.
plug it and with power on but don't turn the station on, leave it in standby mode. then press and hold mem/set on your remote. then set the hour and press mem/set to move onto the minutes. when done press mem/set again and your time is sorted.
