I can't play videos or see my data - Insignia Sport MP3 Player

    I use a Mac OS X 10.4.11
I can't get videos to work on my insignia MP3/4 player.
There is no file with the title "Video" on the MP3/4 player file.
So when I double click InsigniaMP3, it only says, AUDIBLE, CONFIG, Devlcon.fil, DevLogo.fil, Music, RECORD, SYS_CONF.JTT, WMPInfo.xml
Where do I put videos in so I can watch them?! >.>

that's really unhelpful as the software is PC ONLY!!!
    - try another software video converter called 'iSkySoft video converter' - or even Microsoft's own 'Media Expression 2' - the latter allows you to view the files and even play them from the device- really useful!

Go to your device manager and update any usb devices that show as problems. Let the Internet find them for you. I just did this and everything is converting and copying to the device.

Go to Arcsoft and download their Media converter2 and it should change your video into a format that the Insignia player will recognize.

Audio, video and image files are copied/transferred to the MP3 player from a computer using the supplied USB cable that is connected to your computer.
Most MP3 players will support photo with these file formats, jpg, bmp and gif.
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. Can't get my videos to play - screen says no playable file

Is this your first time of trying to play the video on your player?

Maybe the video file is not compatible or the video is not in the right position that would make the player read it.

I would advice you try to reload the videos and know the video format that is compatible with your player e.g AVI, MPEG, etc.

Take care.

Apple ipod video 30 gb 5th gen wont play but shows screen and operates like its gunna play but doesnt advance after you press play. communicates with itunes when plugged in tho. what could be a solution to...

Try plugging the unit up to itunes, and restoring the unit. You will lose all the data on your ipod, so make sure that all your data is loaded on to itunes before restoring. Also if you did not get all your songs from itunes, make sure you ran a virus scan. If the song is corrupted it is not going to work on your ipod. Also make sure the song is the right format, have itunes convert the song to be formatted right for your ipod. If none of the above work, check with Apple to see if the unit is still under warranty with this site: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

The serial number can be found on the back of the unit toward the bottom. If you have any other questions feel free to contact www.wiredextreme.com.

Unable to upload songs in ipod

Try restoring your iPod, it seems like that should solve it. Make sure you don't have anything on your iPod you need, because restoring it erases all data off the iPod.
