I have a HP Photosmart C4180 which I hv been using with Windows XP. Now replaced my computer which has Windows 7. Is my printer compatible? Hv tried disc, but wont accept

Go to hp.com and click on SUPPORT & DRIVERS (top right corner). Now click on the big green square on the page. At this point type in your model of hp printer (Photosmart C4180) and click search. Now from the drop down, select your OS (Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit), and click next. Click on Drive - Product Installation Software and then click on HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers. Click on the blue Download, and save or open(run) the file. Once the download completes and you run it, follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation of your printer.

From what you are saying i would try installing on different hard drive, as it sounds like file corruption is playing a big part of your problems. If it isnt the hard drive then it may be one of your ram chips

I just installed win7 and all mi icons are big, everything is big, please help me.

Right click on the desktop and go to personalize. Down in the bottom left corner click Display. Choose smaller 100%. If this is already checked, Right click on the desktop and click screen resolution. Pick a higher resolution and click apply. The higher the number the smaller everything will get, For Example. 1280x 720 is much smaller than 800 x 600

I have a dell Optiplex gx260. I bought a nice big Acer 23"monitor 1920x1030 but the max resolution in the graphics properties is 1280x1024 so I get a stretched screen or a poor resolution

jenny_beech

The resolution 1920x1030 is not a standard resolution. Also at the time this computer came out you did not have monitors this big ether. So you most likely will not be able to get 1920x1030 on this computer. However if you install the drivers for the monitor on the computer you should atleast get the right aspect ratio so you have poor resolution. You should have a CD with the drivers on in it. The llink below will show you haw to install them maually in Windows 7 if the drivers are not in an installer. Let me know if you need the steps for Windows XP.

HOw can I get The Big Box of Art by Hermera to be compatible with Windows 7?

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))

When i try to install big game hunter 3 it tells me i am using windows nt in fact i am using windows 7

Windows 7 is nt based you will have to install that game under the program compatability wizard and even the sometimes they don't work.
You might also check with the software maker to see if they have a fix for that game that will make it work with windows 7

Windows 7 error

There's a big possibility that you've got the wrong driver installed in your computer. You need to download and install the driver for your printer to your Windows 7 computer.

Unfortunately, I could not find the available driver on the Web. I just found another user that installed the correct driver to his Windows 7 computer and it worked fine.

I would suggest to contact the manufacturer to see where you can download the driver.

Have a great day!
