Jenn-Air JMV9169B top cabinet stencil

I'm having trouble figuring out which areas to cut out for a FLAT bottom cabinet. I'm looking at the stencil. For item "I", Cut out for vertical (outside) exhaust only. This area is shaded and measures 5" x 11-3/4".
In addition, there is a CROSSHATCHED area that says "Cut out slot for smooth flat bottom cabinets only".
I have a Flat bottom cabinet. Do I cut out ONLY the cross hatched area or the entire shaded - cross hatched area? (It showes 6-5/8" to the edge of the cross hatched area then the same 11-3/4".

Also, for item "F", cut out 1-3/4" Diameter for electrical plug. Same thing. This area is shaded and is a circle of 1-3/4" diameter. Immediately above that is another crosshatched area measuring 4" long x 3/4" wide that says "Cut out slot for smooth bottom cabinets only". Again, do I cut out ONLY the cross hatched area or the entire shaded - cross hatched area? (circle and 4" x 3/4" area).

What are these additional areas for???

Thanks for the help.

I would suggest contacting Jenn-Air / Maytag / Whirlpool customer service on this one.

I have a old jenn air wall oven and a old jenn air microwave mounted on top. it was a countertop model. when i removed it it was plugged into the top of the oven. would that be a 110 appliance outlet?

The Jenn Air microwave that is mounted above the oven in your unit is 110v 60Hz. The socket in the upper rear right corner of the oven is a 110v 6Hz socket and is where the microwave would be plugged in. If you are going to replace the microwave, you can plug it into that socket. If you would rather not use that socket, you will have to drill a hole in the side of the cabinet holding the over/microwave to get the power cord out.

Jenn Air Built In Microwave JMC8127DDS - no power to the unit. I've removed all the screws I can see, but can't get the microwave to slide out to see if it is plugged in.

Be advised that they are heavy. You may need 2 people to check this. The bracket may have a lip on the wall section that you have to take the weight off of to move it.

The keypad is physically loose and seems to have lost connection. Only the 2 and 7 beep and connect, nothing else works including the vent and light.

well there is a ribbon cable that attaches the key pad to the control board. it will require removing touch panel to examine. if i remember correctly you have to remove the top grill cover usually having 2 or 3 screws.. they will either be hidden inside the luver portion right above the door or actually coming down from the top edge of the microwave... remove the top grill and then you should have a screw holding the console /keypad in place... make sure unit is unplugged while doing all this.. once you get screw out lift strghit up as there are hook latches on this to hold in place and then pull out. check ribbon cable coming from keypad to control board... if that all looks good then you have a bad touch poad and you need to order a new one... usually can locate the parts @
www.sears.com then hit the parts direct link up top of page... it will ask for your model number so have it ready and then in the right box pull down menu and hit model... a parts diagram will come up and pick the area control panel and it will give you a part number and prices as well as availability....good luck to you

My father's old Jenn-Aire microwave, Model # M170, has a rusted bottom and we need to replace it. Is there a model that is of the same dimensions so that we can replace the unit inside the cabinet above...

You can contact Jenn-Air customer service and they should be able to tell you if there is a "drop-in" replacement for your model.
