Noisy Fan on Copier CS-3035

I have a Copystar CS-3035, and it's fan will not shut off even in sleep mode. Do you know what I can do to turn the fan off or at least slow it down, so it doesn't make so much noise. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Ken,
If the mem bank of printer is full it will slow down, go into Control panal on PC, hit Printer icon, highlight icon and right mouse click, go to prop click empty drafts and copies, and you will see the junk go in bin.

I brought my copystar 3035 home from my office, prints fine, but now trying to connect scanner function to home computer. Help

Go to your browser and type in the IP address (I.E.  192.168.1.1) of the copystar into the address bar at the top and you should get a access screen of the copier from there you may have to log in using a password like admin or password it should be at default like a router or something. From there you should find a path to setting up icons that point to shared folders on you local machine or a server..  good luck

Black page

Main charge unit is shorting out.

Pull the main charge unit out of machine.
Take cleaner (included with toner) and clean.
--Look at front and rear for toner build -up on the charge grid.
This build -up causes a short.
After cleaning, reinstall and run.

CS 3035 printing problem/network issue?

Check the sleep mode settings on it. Do you know how to check on Kyocera's tech website to see if there is a firmware upgrade available?

The drum unit may need to have the toner collection blade replaced. not the cleaning blade for the drum but the one below it that catches the toner cleaned off the drum. if this blade is old or damaged it losses its seal to the drum and drops tiny specks of toner onto the page.
Hope this helps...

your page is still outside of the imaging area. You will have to position the page length wise down the glass and us 8 1/2 X 11 R cassette (R=Reduction) that is what that cassette is used for if you don't have that size cassette use the bypass feature on the machine.

Hope that helps...
