Hi im josh in cebu phils. since that is all fan that works.there is no current that goes or pass on your hardware. all you have to do is check the powersupply connection to the motherboard.both 16 pins and the 4 pins 12 volts. if still change your motherboard. good luck

When I try to boot up the computer, the power lights and fans start for 2-3 seconds (the same length each time), then stop for 2-3seconds, then start for 2-3sec, etc. The computer never boots, so it's like...

Sounds to me like it might be a problem with the motherboard or CPU. Try a different CPU cause if the CPU can't stay powered up then that will cause the fans to turn on and off. Also make sure you only have power going to the motherboard so that will eliminate any hardware devices like a hard drive, or dvd drive causing problems. Try different memory as well to make sure bad memory isn't causing the system to short out the fans. You only want the bare basics hooked up so you can have the best chance of getting video. If after you go thru these steps you still don't get any video then that means the motherboard is faulty.

No Video display when motherboard is turned on

Can you see some indication if the CPU is booting up. Or fan is running?

Unplugged the unit and powered down. Isolate the problem. Check first its RAM,video card, some other PCI card. reseat one by one until the system boots up.

PC HAS POWER BUT WONT BOOT

this is a clarification request as well as a possible solution... are you using the onboard video, or a video card via pci, agp? because if you are using a new video card or a new motherboard you may have to use the onboard video temporarily to boot up and install drivers for the motherboard, then plug in the video card and it should boot up so you can install the drivers for it.... sometimes this is not the case though, i have had to trick a computer into doing this before which is not a smart idea at all...

Power to everything but CPU fan and case fan - won't boot

Hi this is tech crazy

The solution to the problem is as follows

The main reason for CPU fan overworking or not working is due to the load we put on the syatem while operating. So,the first reason for fan not working may be due to the SMPS malfunctionality.Better check out for it.The reason if fan is working but Overworking is due to viruses is system. So go in for format

Hope this solution helps you

Please do rate me on the above said solution

Boot up problem: No Bios reading

Try to unplug unnecessary hardware.. just plug in the monitor to video card, power, and the memory.. unplug the IDE cable or SATA and also the USB devices... Observe if your system will boot. sometimes hardware damages prevent your system to boot..
