Wowpen optical mouse does not correctly reset the pointer when you pick up the mouse
I cannot reset the pointer correctly on the Wowpen optical mouse. I just got this and it's working great except that when I pick it up to reset or recenter the arrow, it jumps to the top right corner of the screen and sometimes disappears entirely. Can this be corrected? There is no reset button on the bottom of this mouse, by the way.

you might have to uninstall the mouse then restart your computer then reinstall the mouse and its drivers make sure the lead from the mouse has a secure seating and the lead is not bad/faulty ((if applicable)) make sure the battery is good (has full charge)also you might test the usb device for the mouse is inserted correctly into the usb port (if applicable) click start control panel mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons,pointers,pointer options and hardware make sure you have the correct mouse selected also under hardware you can troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have options to update driver,rollback driver or uninstall and under hardware you can troubleshoot in xp hope this helps

Thanks! I fixed the problem by installing a USB mouse and using fn+f9. That unlocked the mouse so I could use the pointer leaving just the keyboard problem. I then tried reconnecting the wireless keyboard (by using the button on the receiver and under the keyboard) Hey Presto!!

and is the mouse compatible with your operating system
you can also update driver through device manager
and if you have a reset button on usb press it
