yes you can buy a mobile unlock you can do that online or check wih any mobile store in your area....to know if the phone you are purchasing is unlock , just do not take the CSR's work for it carry your sim-card with you and try it in the phone you will be buying.
I had this problem when I mixed my singer bobbins with my Janome bobbins. Are you using flat bobbins or rounded ones? If they are rounded, they are your problem. Only flat bobbins work in Janome machines.
