do you mean the fuse that's on the lid switch?if so and it's blown you have to change out the lid switch.22001682 and it's around 38 dollars,unplug the washer and lift up the top console and you'll see the lid switch.
Hello, The usual charge when i have repaired that is around $375 in addation to the seal a tub bearing would be required since the seal has leaked it very likely has rusted the bearing. To replace those both the inner and outer tub have to come apart,the breakdown would be Parts--$150 Service Fee $75 Labor $100
labor and service fees vary from company to company and that is probably low,yet it is a great washer and may be well worth investing in to repair
could be pump,tub seal,tub,or a hose. to find leak remove the 2 screws at bottom of front cover and pull out and down after removing the cover you should be able to locate leak. I don't advise trying to replace the tub seal unless you have a lot of time and patience.
A green wire is usually the safety ground. If it has a ring terminal on it, it will go to a mounting screw or nut. Find the schematic to be sure. Check Repairclinic.com.
Use a putty knife at the top front corners to release the spring catches. Lift up the top. Examine the plastic thing that delivers the water to the tub, it may be cracked or out of place.
This advice from Sears to replace baffles only applies to dryers. The baffles for the washer are installed from inside the basket. If you can't locate mounting from inside the basket, then the entire basket/tub will have to be removed and disassembled.(big job)... But I am pretty sure they mount from inside. Washer or dryer, there are three screws in the rear along the top. Remove screws, slide top toward rear and lift off.
