that model number is missing a few more letters and numbers but you will find it here /;
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads select lcd tv and then look rot the exact model number on back of tv on silver foil paper .
The manual for the part number you provided for your TV is available from Samsung from this website.
The manual provides instructions on installation and use.
No one can give you a well-defined answer since that would require brand names and model numbers of all devices.
If the remote is more than a year or two older than the TV or cable box, it may not have any useful codes available.
I suggest you get all the pertinent names and model numbers and try remotes.com
The cable box maker may also have information you need so go to their website.
Hi,
this could be a problem with the power supply in the tv, it is common especially on some Samsungs
and specific repair kits are available quite cheaply if you have good
soldering skills.
Usually this is caused by capacitors that have
dried up and split, you can normally tell as the capacitors are bulging
on the pcb, you can get them in a kit as I said eBay sometimes do them
or you can buy them indivually from a good electronics components
supplier, make sure you get the correct values for each!! marked on the
side of the capacitors in xx/x V, xxx/x uF and 105oC. (the x's represent numbers)
The picture
below shows the type of theing that happens, the brown ones are
bulging/split on the top whereas the black one is fine.
High Voltages can exist in these sets, never attempt anything while plugged in and if in doubt do not attempt it yourself and seek the advice of a qualified TV Technician.
You can fix this yourself with a software upgrade - get the upgrade from Philips website - go to www.usasupport.philips.com, enter your model number, click on the verison of your model ending in /37, and click on "Software & Drivers"; click on the link that says "Firmware Upgrade - Software".
Instructions are on the same page - make sure you only transfer the .upg file, not the entire zip file to a portable memory stick.
