Sandisk 1gb microsd problems

I have recently bought a micro sd adaptor for my phone to expand my music memory. I formatted the card both on my phone and computer, but when I sync my card up to my computer to pull off music it runs well. Then I hook it to my phone and I can't find any memory of the transfer. So i can't play any of my music. please help.

The music might not be in the correct format. Does your phone play MP3s? Another thing might be the DRM problem with the MP3s. I had this problem once and had to strip the DRM stuff out of the MP3 before my phone would recognize it.

When I try to synk music it tells me I cant because is write protected. How do I cleared it?

1. Be sure that the device you are using the 4GB micro SDHC card for,
is able to use this type (HC=High Capacity) of memory.
2. Check the memory card is working well on a notebook / pc with an adaptor
and/or a SD-cardreader.
3. Format the memory card and re-check.

Trying to use Micro SD memory card to put music on my phone. I can see the song titles but get an "Invalid File" message when I try to play music.

You probably need to convert the songs to mp3 format to play on your phone. What model phone and what music format are the songs (what are the last 3 letters of the song name, the file extension?)

Cannot format sd card

You are probably trying to format a micro-SD card that is greater than 2GB eg, micro-SDHC (High Capacity) of 4GB or bigger are not supported by 'older' devices. Stick to 1Gb or 2Gb standard microSD cards for your device.

Hope it helps. Let me know how you go.

How do I use the SanDisk adaptor and the SanDisk 2GB microSD

Hello,

The micro card (the smaller one) can be used alone in a port that accepts (microSD ports)such as those on a Sansa c240, c250, e250 etc.
If you have a regular SD slot (larger than microSD) then you plug the micro card in the adapter and plug the whole into a regular SD slot.

Plug the card in your computer and copy paste the files. Or plug the micro card in an MP3 player that accepts it and use you music transfert software.

You only have one card (the micro SD one), which you can use in two possible slots.

Hope it helps.
