I recently bought an Xbox 360 and plugged it into the back of my TV. However, the TV refuses to show anything from the Xbox 360. I tried Autoprogramming it, and it erased all of my channels except for 1, 70, and 71, and none of those show anything from the Xbox 360. Is my TV simply broken or what?

MOST of their older sets are set up where the AV inputs are channels 90-93 ; if you had no signal other than the game the set will skip all those channels out.

If you have a working remote for it direct enter 90-93 one at a time .

Nothing hooked to cable fitting means set will see no signal and skip them out when auto program is engaged.

My xbox is not showing anything on my tv

Check your AV cable to the tv or HDMI cable which ever one you are using. Unplug it and plug it back in from the back of the console. If it is out of warranty try http://firestormerc.weebly.com

My xbox 360 picture is not showing up it has sound

make sure the tv input is correct, make sure that it's plugged in correctly, and some times the 360 just freezes.

I turn on my xbox but nothing shows on my tv

Lots of reports of problems like this have been reported among xbox consumers. The xbox is actually kinda unreliable (look at the price drop lol). If you still have warranty take it back. It's probably fried and never will work again.

My Xbox 360 is in black and white, it also has no sound!!

The problem could lie in the audio video cable or Hdmi cable. Try replacing that or even taking the 360 back for a new one. If thats not the solution then it could be the input on your tv.

Xbox 360 turns on, but nothing shows on the screen

If the person that you bought it from on E-Bay had an HD Television. Then the Xbox console is set into HD from the Display options. If your TV is not HD, then It will not display. It can also be the other way around, if His TV is standard and yours is HD. Also try looking at the RCA's(The Part that plugs into the 360) And you will see a slider. Switch the slider, then turn it on. Tell me if that works, if Not, tell me and I will tell you what to press on your 360 controller to set the other menu. Hope this helps.

HDTV Problem

there shouldnt be a problem with the cable, if you use the component leads then you will not need to use the s video cable for video incase that is what you are doing, component only uses 5 connectors and the switch should be set at HDTV not tv and the tv set at component Use the following colours into your tv:- Green, Blue, Red and the audio red and white, you do not need the yellow or the s video plugs. Then select the 1080i when in the component setings on your tv and do the same in the dashboard settings
