Where to find fuses. My dryer is not heating up.

Does your dryer have power? If yes, then check (1) the flow of air outside the house from your dryer tube and (2) your circuit breaker panel for each circuit in the house (I've not seen fuses/breakers built into dryers -- though that could change). Then check (3) your heating element, (4) thermostat, (5) high-temp thermal cutoff switch, and (6) for debris in the air flow path to / from from the centrifugal fan.

Hello I have a Kenmore gas dryer model# 1107282210 and the dyer seems to give off a little heat but then I it will stop giving of heat and the clothes will take very long time to dry. Now I cleaned the...

HI, Check the following to address this issue further.

1. Venting
Make sure the dryer vent hose, as well as the rest of the vent duct, is not clogged.

Unless regular maintenance is performed, chances are there is a lot of lint accumulated inside the dryer. This might affect the drying time and could be a fire hazard. Make sure to have your dryer cleaned regularly. Because this might involve taking most of the dryer apart, it is recommended to have a qualified appliance repairman perform this task. The blower housing should be disassembled, and cleaned in this case.

2. Thermostat(Secondary Cause)- Highly unlikely in your case, but possible
There are a couple of cycling thermostats inside the dryer. If one of them breaks down, it might affect the dryer's performance. Replace the defective thermostat. These thermostats are located in the dryer vent duct and sometimes mounted on the blower assembly as well.

My Kenmore 60 series gas dryer will not heat up. I checked the lint trap and it is clean. How do I open the front panel to check the pilot light?

Some dryers have a small inspection hole covered by a small platic cap.
Remove cap and look inside unit for pilot. Newer dryers have an igniter that glows when the dryer is turned on. It ignites the gas then goes out.

HE4 propane dryer wont heat, how do I get the codes display?

Sounds like a clogged exhaust duct or vent. If not venting properly, most dryers will turn the heat off, for safety reasons.
Go for the easy fix first. Before removing your exhaust ducts from the dryer, look for any kinks that may cause blockage. Clean out the duct of any lint or water that may have accumulated. Check the vent on the outside of the house and make sure that its not clogged and opening properly.

Kenmore 80 Series Model #110.74842400 Series MR5112733

There's a few things on this dryer that can stop it
from heating. 1st thing your going to need is an ohm meter, your testing simply for continuity. The main items that cause no heat at all on this gas dryer is the igniter on the gas valve, the thermal fuse located on the blower wheel housing the thermal cut out located on the burner box or the flame sensor on the burner funnel and lastly the coils on the gas valve. the sequence is from most too least common. Of course unplug it and shut the gas off.

Kenmore gas dryer not heating

GAS DRYER, NO HEAT. CHECK THE HEAT SETTING FIRST.
IS IT ON AIR FLUFF? I'M NOT BEING SMART, BUT YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED HOW MANY CALLS I TAKE THAT ARE ON AIR FLUFF. SECOND, LISTEN FOR A DISTINCT CLICK WHEN YOU TURN ON THE DRYER. IF YOU HEAR IT, LOOK IN THE INSPECTION HOLE ON THE FRONT OF THE DRYER, OR REMOVE THE TOE PLATE TO VIEW THE IGNITOR. IF THE IGNITOR GLOWS AND THEN CLICKS OFF BUT NO FLAME, YOU HAVE A BAD SOLENOID ON THE GAS VALVE. IF THE IGNITOR GLOWS, BUT NEVER CLICKS OFF, THE RADIANT SENSOR ATTACHED TO THE SIDE OF THE BURNER ASSEMBLY IS BAD.

IF YOU DON'T HEAR A DISTINCT CLICK WHEN YOU TURN ON THE DRYER, THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE IS THE THERMAL FUSE LOCATED ON THE BACK OF THE DRYER DOWN NEAR THE EXHAUST DUCT. IT IS A SMALL WHITE ITEM ATTACHED TO THE EXHAUST DUCT WITH TWO WIRES ATTACHED.
