They worked for a long time, now all the sudden they aren't working. The main speaker it's powered on; however the green light is no longer lit and no sound is coming from them. Checking the wires- everything is plugged in properly. Any thoughts?

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

if his does not fix the problem
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any further volume control settings you will need to right click on the volume icon system select adjust volume

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

Altec lansing ATP4 speakers aren't working

is it possible that you may have plugged the speakers into the microphone or audio input jack on the computer instead of the speaker/headphone/audio output jack?

Hp pavilion 752n wont turn on.

Seems like a dirty or a bad switch altogether. With the face cover off, try spraying it with an electrical parts cleaner. If that doesn't work, replace it.

Need to know how to hook up the speakers to this compaq computer

The default color is green for the audio output. Your speakers should plug in there.
If you aren't getting sound, make sure they are plugged into power (most speakers use an external power source).

Check your RCA cables to make sure you are getting signal. The amp isn't in protection is it? Also, if you have a multimeter, you can check to see if you are getting any power out to the speakers. Also, check to make sure your subs aren't blown. Keep me posted.

Hi i purchased the bnps102 woofers and used them for 2 weeks i really enjoyed them and i also purchased the pyle 1400 watt amp and a jvc deck along with the boss amp kit installation now the speakers about...

If the lights on your sub box aren't coming on it's either your ground of power wire came loose or the transformer blew. As for the subs, make sure all the connections are good, especially on your RCA wires. If your amp is getting power, then check your speaker connections. Also, make sure to turn the gain know up. The gain knob is located next to the RCA input on the amp. Let me know if this helps.

Need the wiring diagram for a realistic eq booster model no. 12-1955

The main colors are:

Green - L+
White - L -
Brown - R+
Gray - R-

There are 3 sets of these. The ones with thinner wire are for high level input (from a stereo's speaker outputs). The two other thick sets are the speaker outputs to front and rear. They should've been attached to connectors labeled front and rear, if they aren't, you gotta find out through trial and error with the fader. Lastly, black is for ground of course, then the thin red wire is for 12V+ power (on with ignition), and the thicker red wire is power output to a deck, if you want it to turn on along with the amp/eq.

Speakers suddenly dead?

Investigate the "no green light" condition -- did some animal chew through the power-cord? Did some child pull the power-cord out from the outlet? Did your room-mate go on an "energy-conservation" binge, and turn the speakers off?

Display gone, no longer functioning

Green light but no display- most likely main transformer is gone (60%), 35%- blown main fuse, 5%- bad display or power supply. You are lucky if unit is still under warranty. Solution- repair shop.
