I have a Epson TX 101 printer , if i not fill cartage is the printer not open ? but i have use his scanner very goodly. that some day the printer was not started . please kindly help me how can i start printer to use scanner.and now i have a very money problem ,some day befor i will buy cartage.

I beleive that you will need to remove it and install it again. WHat has happened is that your printer dose not recognize the cartage. I had the same problem with my Epson printer. But once I re-intalled the CISS, it works fine. When the ink is low I run my Cleaning Program in the Epson, this will re-fill the empty cartage.

If your printer cartages are full filled and will not able to print. Please follow the following steps-

1- Uninstall the printer driver and disconnect printer from PC.
2- Download the latest Epson Stylus CX5500 Driver 6.5b Windows 2000/XP  from given web link

3- Install the printer driver from downloaded file and connect printer as setup ask.

4- Now remove the cartages from printer and clean the connecting points & inkjet point by soft cloath.

5- While cleaning the cartage's injet points you will must see the ink on cloath. If ink does not see on cloath may be your cartages are dry. try to clean them by little force.

6- connect the cartages to printer. tyr to print.
