My sound system does not work recently

Check your device manager for your sound device.

If not present or if flag appears in your device manager, remove them and reload.

Go to Toshibas web site and download the correct driver for your Operating System and PC

Hope this helps

No sound

Go to CONTROL PANEL, HARDWARE & SOUND, MANAGE AUDIO DEVICES (Under SOUND). Click on PLAYBACK to see what audio device is installed if any. If necessary, select a device and/or test it.

If no device is present, you need to run a device driver search to find what driver was not installed - Slim Drivers from slimwareutilities.com is free and does a great job at identifying missing drivers. It will usually find the missing driver and help you install it to get sound working on your system.

If installing the proper driver does not help, you may have to use an external (USB) audio plug and only be able to access sounds through headphones or speakers.

No sound in my computer

Make sure that you computer was able to detect your sound card. You can check this by going to control panel then click on system then click device manager. Look for your sound card if present in the device manager's list. Usually if driver is not loaded in the device, there is an exclamation point on that device. All you need to do is to install the driver to resolved this issue. If sound card is not detected by your sytem, then you need to call you manufacturers tech support for possbile servicing. This could be sound card problem

Problem with sound

Hi,
Uninstall your sound device driver software from your system and reinstall them back using the driver cd which came along with your computer. This should fix your problem.

Note: if you dont have driver cd with you, then download the exact driver from your laptop manufacturer website before uninstalling the present driver.

Thanks.

How to upgrade the sound of my computer

If I got your questions clear it might be somethin like upgrading the sound driver of your sound card.
Changes to your operating system or new software may cause conflicts with your sound card or sound card driver. If the manufacturer of your sound card has created a new driver for it, you might solve the problem by installing it. You also might need to upgrade drivers to play sounds in new formats, such as RealAudio. This can only work for latter version of windows from 95 until present.

D610 Dell Latitude no sound

Hi,
try this>
start menu > control panel > sound speech and audio devices > sounds and audio devices > audio > check here is the default device selected for playback the right device if wrong correct it and reboot, if it doesn't work

try this thing go to device manager using following instructions
start>run> type in without quotes 'devmgmt.msc' > sound and game controllers
uninstall the all the drivers from it by right clicking and use the uninstall option
now reboot the system and reinstall all the sound drivers

please also check the mute option on the speaker present on the taskbat in bottom right usually

if this also doesn't work then
what we can do is do system restore to go back to a date when the sound was working but system restore will lead to loss of all the settings and programs that were installed after the date we restore it to.

to use system restore
here is a helpfull link

Further queries are welcome
and if you find my solution helpfull please do rate me

and then reboot the system
