The cassette holder is not recedes automatically it is jammed

is it close without a cassette ? if so the reel sensor in the cassette compartment may be faulty. if the head drum not rotates the cassette drive will not work correctly, if so please loosen the head drum with a plastic rod or some tools like that. do not put your finger in hence sometimes will jam your finger. remember don"t touch the scanning chip of the head.

Hello,

Kindly open the cover of your printer or the cover at the back of your printer then make sure that the printer is on. Then wait the ink holder will stop moving and automatically stop in the center of the printer (if inkjet printer) then remove the ink cassette or if it is laser or toner then just remove the ink cassette automatically after you open the cover of the printer. Also to have more information kindly referto your printer manual to have more step by step instructions in removing and installing new ink cassette.

Sometimes its a gear stuck up ... when the cass holder is trying to come down just give it a slight push ...so if there is any gear stuck it may smoothen out

Does the casstte holder still open? If so, you should be able to carefully remove cassette carefully. If not, there should be a small hole on cassettelid where you can stick a bended paperclip through to open it and than remove the cassette.

Try taking the battery out...

what you have to do is ejecting the tape, and as soon as it starts to eject , close the door immediately, then safeguard mode should be gone, and you will be able to eject normally.

See if this works--If you are on battery there may not be enough power .Charge the battery or use the the mains power through the transformer and see if it works.

Sounds like the paper out sensor for the cassette is either broken or jammed. Pull out the cassette tip the machine on its back and you should see a black arm hanging down. This should be able to swing back and fourth freely. Unless it is missing or broken.

I had the same problem and solved it by removing the battery to allow the camera to reset. Worked fine after that.
