Nokia 2610 Problems with headset.

Once i connected the headset in my phone, now the phone voice is not routed to normal route anymore.. I can answer calls only with headset on or via loudspeaker on. I cant answer them normally. There is a symbol of car on the screen. I tried from changing the enhancements option but it does not improve.
Please help.

Can only hear using loudspeaker or headset and little car icon is on the phone. Tried changing settings, turning phone off and on, removing and replacing the battery.

Also, phone is not ringing or vibrating.

I think that when you connected the headset, the internal connection got jammed and even if you remove the headset it will show that the headset is connected.you should see a mobile repairer.the problem is internal

I have an old nokia head set i can't get it to conect to my nokia 5530

Hi,you can use this instruction below to connect your Nokia headset to your Nokia 5530 .
After following the instruction and it does not work, that means your headset will need to be tested on another phone to be sure it's working properly.

How to Pair (Connect) a Bluetooth Headset to Your Phone

So you've heard of this new thing called "bluetooth..." But what is it? ...And what does it do for me? It's wireless technology that can link your phone to a headset, computer, another phone, or in extreme cases, your car and home.

We'll just start with the basics and connect a headset to the phone

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

* A Bluetooth cellular phone
* A Bluetooth Headset

Blue tooth can simply be called "a generic wireless technology that can connect your phone, computer, headset, PDA, laptop, and any other enabled device to each other."

In essences, it was designed to be a universal wireless connector between devices.

Ok... Here we go.
Make sure that both your phone and new headset are charged up.

Since every brand of headset is different, please refer to the instructions for "Pairing", but I will tell you how the most common headsets pair.

By the way, "Pairing" just means "connecting". If you find it more simple, you can substitute the word.

On most headsets, from the Headset being off, hold down the answer/end button down until the indicator light(s) glow a solid color (usually blue). This may take up to 10 seconds. They might flash first, then after a couple more seconds, go solid on.

On your handset, find the bluetooth menu.

On most phones, go to the settings menu, then to "connections" and then "Bluetooth". You are looking for a link to "Add a new device".

On Motorola phones, it is in the "Handsfree" link. Select [look for new device] select this option, and hit "OK".

Nokia Phones: look for "search for new audio enhancements". Hit OK.

On Samsung phones: **Bluetooth menu might be under "tools"** Look for "Add new device". Hit OK.

The phone will search for a couple seconds. If your headset is in paring mode, it will show up on the phone either with the name of device or something like this [unknown headset] or [b2.c3.f4.56.a1] (called a MAC address).

Either way, select it, and hit OK.

The phone will now ask you for a "Pin" or "Passcode", which is a 4 digit number. Headsets will ALWAYS have 0000 (four zeros) as a pin or passcode. I have never encountered a headset with a different number as a passcode. I have been in wireless for 10 years, and still have not found a headset that has any different numbers.

Enter these four zeros and select "OK"

The headset and phone will connect to each other. The phone will display a message that will be something to the effect of:
"Connected to headset".

At this point, the phone MAY ask if you want to use the headset. This means all audio from phone calls would be routed to the headset rather than in to the phone's speaker or earpiece. Select yes, or ok.

Your headset is now set up for you to talk on like a REALLY important CIA agent or something of the like...

Keep in mind that when a call comes in, the phone will still ring like normal.

You can answer the call by either:

1. Pulling the phone out of your pocket and hitting the answer button.
2. Touching the answer/end button on your headset without reaching for you phone.

The range of your headset is up to 30 feet, in a direct line of sight.

If you go into another room, your range may be decreased.

If you do happen to go out of range, the call will be transferred back to the phone, and as soon as you are in range again, touch the answer button on the headset to let the phone know you're back in range. It will re-transfer the call back to the headset.

If you turn off the phone, or headset, you can repair them again simply by going to the bluetooth menu and selecting the headset again from the list. It will reconnect without a pass code and you are up and running again.

*** Please note that you do not have to hold down the answer/end button on the headset until it goes a solid on again.

Have a nice day.....

Connection

Begin with your headset turned off. Then, press and hold the answer/end button until the indicator light is solid lit in blue. It is in paring mode. Now, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, the BT-350 should appear on-screen. Select it and make the application proceed. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing proces is successful, the headset should enter stand-by mode. The pairing process is timed. If you fail to complete it, you'll have to start it over, from the phone turned off phase. Once paired, whenever both your headset and your phone's bluetooth radios are turned on, they should connect to each other automatically. Otherwise, just press the answer/end button, and the link should be done again. In this case, it might be prudent to place the headset in your ear and check if the voice channel has been actevated (you can actually hear it). If so, either press the answer/end button again, or turn your phone off (i.e. just put it in stand-by), and make sure the voice channel has been cut off. The bluetooth connection will still be in stand-by.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.

Cheers! Carlos

Can not hear thru phone can only use it on hands free speaker

check your phone settings and see if you have voice routed to headset or phone. I had mine routed to phone only and the bluetooth though on would not come on when I was answering phone calls. Now when my bluetooth is on, it automatically goes to headset instead of the phone.

Nokia 6630 Headset

ok this appears to be a hardware problem on your handset. Actually the moment you connect a headset on to your phone there is an IC that switches on the headset and disconnects the earpiece and microphone of the set and once you remove the headset it should go back to normal. Unfortunately this doesn't happen on your phone so if you do not know what to do u will have to show it to a technician. the only thing that you possible do if u aren't tech savvy is to clean the system connector terminals connect the headset and then remove it. if this works then u will be lucky

Bluetooth connection not working Kenwood KCA BT100 with KDC W7537U and a Nokia N95

Well... I'm sure mine worked ONCE! I have the BT100 and KDC-W7534U. It worked fine with my Nokia N80 but with my Nokia N95 It connects fine but i cant hear or be heard when the call is answered.Interestingly I cannot use the headunit to dial a number anymore. If i was to be on a call BEFORE connecting the headunit then it works. But once the call ends and i select an input source - the phone has the same symtoms as above again. I have checked all the profile settings and set the enhancment to be active on the active profile. I thought Bluetooth was a standard and it was just meant to work if it was bluetooth compliant! ...Grrrrrr!
