it seems to have a reset button internally that might be worth a try. otherwise a full hard reset may be worth trying but that erases all data so backit up 1st. how to hard reset dell streak 7 hope that helps

Ok this is not a easy fix. The replacement port connectors are easy to get and cheap $4-$10. How ever they require that you are able to take apart the tablet unsolder the old port and then solder in the new one. There are several places that will do this as a service but it ain't cheap. If it is possible for you to use a different charger so that we can check if the tablet will charge or not. You can reset it to factory settings but you will lose some information and all your passwords and have to start afresh. I suggest you save all your passwords in a paper note book and put the book under your bed or anywhere safe.
