If you have no experience unsoldering and soldering it is probably not something you can handle. Especially if the switch is what is refered to as surface mounted. A surface mount refers to the fact that there are no pins going to the other side of the board to be soldered there. It takes a bit more skill to solder on a surface mount part than a through hole part.

OK, the unit will usually lock itself after it has completely been removed from the power mains. For example, when you have disconnected the car battery.
This code is initialized for security purposes. You will find this code in the original packaging of the radio. Have a look at the manual on how to type it in.

My cd player makes a funny noise and does not play
take the cd player out of the dash. remove the metal casing from around the unit (load of small screws. Inside the cd mechanism, more to the side, there is a small gear...this can slip off the other gear that drives the cd. just push it back on. I then secured mine in place using a bit of tape...just be careful not to stick it to moving parts. works fine everytime now.
